With over 25 years in the hospitality industry, including a decade of leadership in Saudi Arabia, Zok is recognized for combining operational excellence with a deep understanding of authentic, locally inspired hospitality. In his new role, he will further strengthen Fairmont Hotel Riyadh’s position as a premier destination for luxury, comfort, and memorable experiences for both business and leisure travellers.
With a proven track record in luxury hospitality, Zok has developed extensive expertise in operational leadership and team development. Educated in Switzerland at the Glion Institute of Higher Education, he has since held senior roles across the region, most recently serving as General Manager of Fairmont Ramla Serviced Residences in Riyadh, where he oversaw 249 serviced apartments. Known for his hands-on approach, strategic vision, and ability to motivate multicultural teams, he has consistently enhanced operational performance, revenue growth, and guest satisfaction. With his in-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s market and a focus on delivering exceptional experiences, Zok is poised to continue strengthening Fairmont Hotel Riyadh’s position as a benchmark of excellence in the Kingdom.
A strong advocate for talent development, Zok has championed the integration and empowerment of local and female talent. Through the Saudi Tourism Leadership Initiative, he has enhanced the skills of over 80 Saudi national employees, including 32 women, resulting in a 65% improvement in performance metrics and stronger team retention. In addition, he has supported executive committee members in enrolling in Accor’s Executive Leadership Program, equipping them with the skills and experience needed for future General Manager roles.
