Tough Mudder and Mini Mudder set to take center stage in Jeddah on 21 January 2023

Tough Mudder Jeddah will transform the buzzing city into a hub of outdoor fun and excitement

 Line-up of epic signature obstacles revealed including ‘Everest’, ‘Shawshanked’

and ‘Electro Shock Therapy’

 

Jeddah (KSA): Following the success of Tough Mudder Riyadh in 2022, the world-renowned obstacle course challenge is gearing up for its return to the Kingdom on 21 January 2023, this time in Jeddah at King Abdullah Sport City. Tough Mudder Jeddah is open to new and returning Mudder’s to come together on a life-changing adventure and face the ultimate challenge of physical strength, stamina and mental grit.

Held in partnership with the Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA), Tough Mudder Jeddah will take place at King Abdullah Sport City, otherwise known as The Shining Jewel. The thrilling, action-packed event will give Jeddah’s fitness lovers the chance to show off their strength, determination, and resilience, as they attempt to navigate the world’s best mud run and obstacle course.

The Jeddah edition will include a 5k, a non-competitive 10k, and a timed 10k course with a line-up of new and exciting obstacles. The Mini Mudder challenge will be open to children aged 6 to 12 and will run parallel to Tough Mudder, with a fun and engaging 1.6k obstacle mud run on a specially designed course.

As part of its commitment to getting more people and communities across the Kingdom fit and active, SFA is now calling on the people of Jeddah to get ready and gear up for a lively day of laughter, exercise, and spirited fun for all.

 

The endurance event will help participants to improve their health and wellbeing, socialize, and put their physical skills to the test outdoors, while taking on a series of obstacle courses. Open to people of all ages, Tough Mudder is designed to empower people to overcome challenges and develop better teamwork skills.

 

Tough Mudder Jeddah will introduce a selection of brand new, nail biting and exciting obstacles, while the most popular globally renowned obstacles will make an appearance. Amongst those, are ‘Everest’, ‘Shawshanked’, ‘Electro Shock Therapy’, ‘Tyre Road’ and ‘Ice Bath’. With a little help from those around you, you can rock and roll your way through one of Tough Mudder’s highest-rated obstacles and take teamwork to a whole new level.

Fully aligned with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and Quality of Life Program goals, Tough Mudder Jeddah will empower Saudi citizens and residents to safeguard their health and wellness by getting involved in more physical and fitness-focused activities. The event underlines SFA’s commitment to raising physical activity levels in the Kingdom to 40 percent through the provision of world-class resources, experiences, and facilities.
