Jeddah : The Consulate General of India in Jeddah successfully hosted “India: Wellness & Flavours” on 12 July 2026 at the Park Hyatt Hotel. The prestigious event served as a vibrant celebration of India’s ancient wellness philosophy through Yoga and the agricultural richness of its renowned mango harvest.
The gathering attracted a high-profile guest list, including senior dignitaries from Saudi Arabia’s Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Media, and Environment, Water and Agriculture. Also in attendance were members of the diplomatic corps, leading business figures, steadfast friends of India, and representatives of the Indian diaspora in the Kingdom.
In his keynote address, India’s Consul General, H.E. Mr. Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri, emphasized the universal importance of preventive healthcare and holistic well-being across all demographics. He noted that the event not only showcased India’s culinary diversity and agricultural prowess but also served as a bridge to strengthen bilateral ties. “This celebration highlights the immense potential for deepening India-Saudi Arabia cooperation in cultural exchange and agri-trade,” Mr. Suri stated.
A centerpiece of the evening was the Indian Mango Trail, which offered attendees a sensory expedition through premium Indian mango varieties, including Chausa, Dussehri, and Langda.
