The Saudi Sports for All Federation announced the launch of the “Move with Us” program in AlUla Governorate, located in Median province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. The program will kick off on Saturday, 7th of January 2023. The initiative aims to promote the practice of walking, running, and cycling. As well as attracting all members of society, especially those who do not engage in physical activities, to participate in these sports programs, to build a healthy, active, and sustainable society.

This program is one of SFA’s qualitative ones targeting citizens and residents of all age groups in different regions of the Kingdom and forms a part of the sports activities that the SFA intends to organize in the coming months.

Participants in the program, including youth and adults, can walk and run for distances ranging from 1 to 5 KM and cycle for 10 KM (males and females). Meanwhile, kids will also be able to participate by walking or running for 1 KM. The program will also cater to people with special needs participating in the race.

This program is special because it is being held in AlUla, one of Saudi Arabia’s most significant cultural and civilizational heritage sites. AlUla has recently gained attention as a result of its charming mountainous landscape and ideal climate, especially in the winter. The Kingdom also hopes to elevate AlUla Governorate to the status of the most revered shrine in the Middle East through its interest in the region.

The Federation invites all those wishing to participate to register for the event through the SFA website. https://sfa.sa/movewithus or download the SFA application on their smart devices.
