Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia-: Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah, Riyadh has launched an exquisite ‘Year of the Camel’ menu that honours the cultural value of camels and their enduring connection with the people of the Arabian Peninsula throughout history.
With the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia designating 2024 as the ‘Year of the Camel’, the luxury hotel’s culinary team has curated four new signature dishes using authentic, locally-sourced ingredients. This special menu will be available throughout the year at La Brasserie, The Globe, The Mandarin Lounge, and even In-room Dining.

At La Brasserie – the contemporary, multi-cuisine restaurant – guests can try a Saudi-style Camel Kabsa. Tender camel meat has been cooked in a tomato sauce with onion, ginger and traditional spices, offering an innovative twist on classic flavours. Meanwhile, The Mandarin Lounge offers a Camel Milk Ice Cream with a hint of vanilla for a delicious sweet ending to the celebration.
