Dubai : Celebrating local brands and the community behind them, FIX Dessert Chocolatier hosted an immersive art installation at Kite Beach this past weekend. Running from 9 – 10 May, the experience was rooted in a spirit of togetherness, carving out a public moment of kindness and connection. The ‘Messages from the UAE’ initiative collated almost 6,500 messages, which came to life as a living, breathing digital word cloud.
Sarah Hamouda, Co-Founder of FIX Dessert Chocolatier commented: “Chocolate has always had a beautiful way of bringing people together. It’s this spirit that inspired our ‘Messages from the UAE’ initiative, and we are so humbled by how many came out to pause, share a few words, and feel part of something bigger this past weekend. It’s even more special that we could share this moment with other incredible UAE-born brands, in a powerful reminder of community support.”
This latest installation from FIX, in partnership with Careem, was a celebration of all things home-grown. Starring Humantra, Parker’s, BRED, Karen Wazen, Salt, Bake My Day, Public, Somewhere, Kumo, Shalwa, The Reborn Society, The Scent Library, Polished, House of Habanero, and Fracs, founders of the UAE’s favourite brands gathered at Kite Beach to demonstrate the UAE’s solidarity and reward the community for always showing up.
Bassel Alnahlaoui, Chief Business Officer at Careem added: “The UAE is our home, and standing with this community is second nature to us. Together with FIX, we were proud to be part of this hugely successful celebration at Kite Beach, honouring the unity and positivity that define this country. It was a beautiful moment to come together and share our gratitude for a place that gives us so much.”
