Deliveroo Restaurant Awards Return for a Fourth Edition

Voting is now open to the public until 17th October, with a chance to win AED 1,000 in Deliveroo credit 

UAE : Deliveroo has officially announced the much-anticipated fourth edition of its annual Restaurant Awards, coinciding with Deliveroo’s 10th anniversary in the UAE. This year’s awards are set to be bigger and bolder than ever, shining a spotlight on the UAE’s most loved restaurants across 37 categories, including the coveted Restaurant of the Year and Most Loved by Riders.

Reflecting the UAE’s vibrant and diverse dining scene, this year introduces an exciting line-up of new categories such as Best Manakish, Best Russian, Best Shawarma, Best Chocolate, Best Snacks & Munchies, Best Middle Eastern Dessert, Best Cakes, Best Emirati, Best Lebanese, Best Egyptian, and Best Chinese, further celebrating the culinary richness of the nation.

For the first time, the awards will feature a single round of public voting, running until 17th October, giving food lovers across the country the chance to back their favourites. Based on customer votes, the three finalists in each category will be announced on 20th October, with the winners revealed at a special event in November.

Deliveroo has identified a total of 37 award categories to highlight the best of food delivery available to customers on the platform, including Best Burger, Best Asian, Best Pizza, Best Middle Eastern, Best Chicken, Best Homegrown Dubai, Best Homegrown Abu Dhabi, Best Dessert, Best Italian, Best Newcomer, Best Coffee, Best Mexican, Best Ice Cream, Best Sandwich Shop, Best Salad Restaurant, Best Breakfast Restaurant, Best Bakery, Best Fine Dining, Best Healthy Restaurant, Best Family Restaurant, Best Value Eats, Best Japanese, Best Poke, Best Indian, Best Manakish, Best Russian, Best Shawarma, Best Chocolate, Best Snacks & Munchies, Best Middle Eastern Dessert Restaurant, Best Cakes, Best Emirati, Best Lebanese, Best Egyptian, Best Chinese, Most Loved by Riders and Restaurant of The Year.

Of the 37 award categories, 35 are determined entirely by customer votes. For the Restaurant of the Year Award, customers are invited to nominate their favourite restaurant during the voting round, giving every partner on the platform, regardless of size, a fair chance to win. The ultimate winner will then be selected by a panel of judges. The Most Loved by Riders category also returns, allowing Deliveroo riders to vote for their favourite restaurant and crown their own winner.

During the voting period, which runs until 17th October, food lovers can vote for their favourite restaurants and stand a chance to win AED 1,000 in Deliveroo credit. Following the votes, Deliveroo will announce the top three finalists in each category, with the winners revealed in November.
