Jumeirah Beach Hotel’s modern French Brasserie welcomes new Outlet Manager and Sommelier for even more elegance and charm

United Arab Emirates, Dubai-: Hot on the heels of the successful launch of its new jazz night, Bastion has given us yet another reason to visit with an array of delicious new additions to its exquisite À La Carte menu.

Located on the 25th floor or Jumeirah Beach Hotel, guests can now enjoy no less than 15 new dishes prepared by chef Sebastien Torres while enjoying sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf and Burj Al Arab Jumeirah.

Tantalising new starters include Escargots de Bourgogne and Dressed Crab whilst the salad menu now features Chicory & Roquefort Salad with Candied Pecan Nuts and Red Grape Dressing, Artichoke Salad with Green Beans, Shallots, Tomato and Balsamic Dressing, and Quinoa Salad with Goat’s Cheese, Dried Fruit, Watermelon, Beetroot, Avocado and Balsamic Dressing. On to the Raw Bar where Salmon Ceviche with Mango, Avocado, Cucumber and Cilantro awaits, or the Tian Provencal – a Confit of Zucchini, Tomato and Eggplant – for even more plant-based choice. There is also a mouth-watering selection of meats including French Charolais Tenderloin, Kiwami Wagyu Sirloin, Braised Lamb Shank and Coquelet (Grilled Whole Baby Chicken) with Vined Ripened Cherry Tomatoes and Mixed Lettuce, as well as seafood dishes galore with Lobster Thermidor, Salmon Papillote and Moules Mariniere among the new additions.

The modern French brasserie is also welcoming two new members to its talented team to deliver even more elegance and charm. Florian Castellani, from Monaco, joins as Outlet Manager, following a two-year tenure as Assistant Manager at Shimmers on the Beach, and bringing his 3 years of experience from Canada, working at luxurious hotels such as the Four Seasons and Fairmont. Florian has also worked at the famous prestigious palace hotel Le Bristol Paris. With his extensive knowledge and experience, Florian will take the restaurant to the highest levels along with the new talented Italian Sommelier Edoardo Giovanetti. Previously working as Sommelier at Amazonico Dubai, Edoardo brings his superior knowledge of wine to the guests for perfect pairings across the Bastion dining experience.

If these weren’t reasons enough, Bastion’s Jazz night is fast becoming a firm favourite on people’s events calendar. Every Wednesday & Thursday, the venue hosts a sophisticated evening of soulful jazz where the sultry sounds of Bobby Valchev & Nutella Riot featuring duo Noush Like Sploosh and Matt BLK fill the room.

So, what are you waiting for? Head to Bastion for delicious food, perfectly paired drinks and vibrant live music.

Open daily from 6:00PM – 10:30PM | Jazz Night: Every Wednesday & Thursday from 7:00PM – 10:00PM | For more information or to book a table, please visit jumeirah.com or call 800 323232.
