Carrier’s UAE experts highlight the importance of decarbonization and indoor air quality

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Carrier Middle East participated as the HVAC sponsor for The Big 5 show, an international construction and building materials event, displaying its state-of-the-art HVAC solutions offered in the UAE. The exhibition is the largest of its kind in the region and attracted more than 50,000 visitors during the four day event at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Carrier Middle East is a part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), the leading global provider of healthy, safe, sustainable and intelligent building and cold chain solutions.

H.E. Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, UAE, was briefed on Carrier’s energy efficient and digitally enabled lifecycle solutions by Sathya Moorthi, Managing Director, Carrier Middle East. The Big 5 included more than 2000 exhibitors from over 60 countries, making it one of the largest events in UAE.

“As a global leader, Carrier was pleased to be part of The Big 5 this year as the only HVAC sponsor,” said Sathya Moorthi, Managing Director, Carrier Middle East. “Our portfolio of products showcased at the event demonstrates our commitment to sustainability, continuously improving energy efficiency and offering customers solutions to inspire confidence in improving the indoor air quality (IAQ) for building occupants in harsh middle-east climate conditions.”

Carrier conducted two workshops, which were attended by more than 100 participants. During the workshops, Carrier briefed attendees on variable refrigerant flow (VRF), controls and building automation technologies.

Carrier featured solutions for its XPower® VRF, AquaEdge® chiller line, air handling units, rooftop units, ducted split-systems, i-Vu® building automation system and controls, and the Abound™ suite of solutions and digital platform that provides real-time IAQ, thermal comfort and energy usage insights.

For building owners, Carrier displayed a comprehensive suite of Healthy Buildings offerings designed to drive IAQ. From IAQ assessments and real-time monitoring to portable air scrubbers and system upgrades, Carrier showcased a full range of solutions that support healthy living and help build confidence in the safety of indoor spaces.
