Industry veteran Satheesh Thampy now leads the culinary team, sharing his wealth of local experience and a love for unique flavours with all.
Abu Dhabi : Roots Bar & Kitchen, the all-day dining restaurant located at Yas Acres Golf & Country Club, is excited to announce the appointment of Satheesh Thampy as its new Head Chef. Known for his passion and innovative approach to the culinary world, Chef Thampy brings a wealth of local experience and a love for unique flavours, creative dishes and the finest ingredients.
Having spent over 19 years working in the UAE, Chef Thampy is no stranger to the region’s diverse and dynamic dining landscape. His previous roles at acclaimed venues such as Basilico at Cove Rotana, Mare Mare at Jumeirah at Saadiyat, and J&G Steakhouse at The St. Regis Dubai has helped him develop a well-rounded, diner-focused approach that balances refined technique with the warmth of local dining.
