A Collaborative Culinary Masterpiece shaped by Six Hands over Three Acts
Dubai, UAE-: Renowned Chef Jason Atherton, known for his Michelin-starred restaurants, is set to host a unique and unprecedented culinary event at his acclaimed restaurant, Row on 45 on Monday 1st July. The exclusive event will unite him with two of the world’s most celebrated chefs: Chef Mohamad Orfali, whose restaurant Orfali Bros has been recognised by the World’s 50 Best Restaurants and the Michelin Guide’s Bib Gourmand, and Chef Grégoire Berger, the culinary mastermind behind the Michelin-starred Ossiano and no.3 on MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants. Together with Chef Jason Atherton, they have created a bespoke 17-course menu, and promise an unmatched dining experience for just 22 guests.
Set within the intimate, luxury penthouse-inspired ambiance of Row on 45, the bespoke experience, priced at AED 1,545 per person, with an additional AED 1,345 for wine pairing, is a celebration of culinary innovation in the region. Guests will have the rare opportunity to engage and interact with all three culinary titans as they create and serve their masterpieces from the show kitchen, making for an extraordinary and exhilarating evening.
The exquisite dinner at Row on 45 will unfold in three acts, providing a sensory journey for discerning diners. Seating time is from 7:15pm, starting in the Champagne Lounge with a glass of Nyetimber upon arrival, accompanied by the first three appetisers.
Guests will then be escorted to the main dining room, where each course will be meticulously served by a different chef as part of the Six Hands experience. Each chef will contribute their expertise and creativity to the evening, perfectly complementing one another: The dishes will be presented in a dynamic sequence by the chefs: Chef Jason Atherton will showcase nine exquisite dishes, Chef Grégoire will add four of his own creations, and Chef Orfali will present an additional four courses.
The 17-course haute cuisine tasting menu will reflect each chef’s global culinary odyssey and passion for worldly ingredients. Each dish will be presented with personal insights and a distinctive touch by the talented chefs. The journey begins with the ethereal Oysters and Pearls, a homage to Thomas Keller’s masterpiece, followed by Chef Jason Atherton’s artful Bafun Uni with Norwegian Langoustine Custard and Hokkaido Scallop. The experience continues with Chef Grégoire’s Blue Lobster and Artichoke and Chef Orfali’s Koji Grilled Eggplant with Caramelised Jerusalem Artichoke Purée covered in a Seaweed Jus.
