Presenting deep Japanese flavours and comforting goodness, YUi’s ramen is prepared with 100% Japanese flour noodles, local fresh chicken, antibiotic-free eggs, and no msg.

For Dubai diners looking for a bowl of something deliciously comforting as cooler temperatures make way across Dubai, the UAE’s first handmade ramen house, YUi in Dubai Design District awaits with soul-warming bowls of ramen to suit all tastes this winter season.

Created using six key quality pillars, YUi’s approach to ramen sees the restaurant prepare the much-loved Japanese bowl with ramen noodles that are made fresh in-house daily using 100% Japanese flour and signature broths created with 100% halal, fresh local chicken simmered for 16 hours per day to unlock rich flavours, as well as antibiotic-free eggs – ensuring each bowl is not only authentic and delicious, but packed with good-for-you ingredients.

YUi also prides itself on presenting diners with ramen created using no MSG and zero chemical seasonings, which is often seen in other ramen bars as a way of enhancing umami flavours and creating addictive tastes. YUi aims to create true, deep Japanese flavours through using the right ingredients prepared in a meticulous manner to produce healthier ramen dishes that do not compromise on those desired, soul-warming flavours presented from an authentic bowl of ramen.

With all elements of the dish made in-house using only the highest quality of ingredients sourced from handpicked suppliers in Japan and local UAE-based farms that forgo any artificial ingredients or preservatives to ensure a true-in-taste dish, every order, YUi’s ramen selection provides guests with a generous selection to choose from and can be enjoyed for dine-in or delivery.

With a wide range of ramen to choose from, highlights to enjoy at YUI include the YUi Original that first appeared on the menu in 2018 and has been a fan-firm favourite to date. Combining a rich paitan broth with yakiniku rib eye beef and spicy moyashi bean sprouts, this ramen is a sure-fire crowd pleaser – as is the Tantanmen with tender minced miso chicken in a rich broth with warming sesame-peanut paste.

There’s also Shio Paitan, which marries a rich paitan broth with chicken chashu, kikurage, nori seaweed, spring onion, and black garlic sauce – a bowl sure to satisfy the appetite. As is the Yuzu Shio which serves up a yuzu shio soup with tender, roasted Wagyu slices paired with kikurage, pak choy and ajitama egg.

The comforting Maze Soba is equally as impressive with tasty, minced miso chicken, pak choy, onsen egg, menma and chili itogaki. For vegetarians, the Miso Veggie ramen boasts a 100% vegetable-based miso broth and includes sweet corn, bok choy, wakame and more.

Expect ramen at YUi served in hasami-yaki ceramics originating from Hasami City in Nagasaki to wow with its deep colouring and diverse design – bringing with it over 400 years of history being embedded in Japan’s traditional culinary scene. Diners will find these bowls full to the brim with perfected, deep Japanese flavours prepared by YUi’s culinary team.

For ramen-loving diners looking to rediscover or experience a taste of YUi for the first time, the ramen house is welcoming guests for dine-in at its location in D3, while its dishes can be ordered for home delivery in the neighbouring areas via Deliveroo.
