Built around the 2Rs of Wellbeing, the program focuses on food, mindfulness and beyond

INDIA-: The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts continues their signature wellness programme – Aujasya by The Leela aimed at redefining the road to holistic wellbeing. A unique blend inspired by traditional and modern practices, Aujasya by The Leela encompasses a collection of authentic experiences that build vivacity and promote the vigour of life, built around the 2 Rs of Wellbeing – Restore (Food) and Renew (Mindfulness). Taking origin from the Sanskrit word, Aujasya – translated as beneficial to strengthening vitality or energy, this initiative allows guests to embrace an enriching and healthy lifestyle.

The brand launched the first pillar, Restore (Food), in collaboration with renowned nutritionist and food consultant, Dr. Ankita Jalori. The Leela has re-imagined culinary experiences across its properties by improving the nutritional profile of food menus and offering healthy alternatives. Executive Chef, Simran Singh Thapar at The Leela Palace Bengaluru and Chef Rishabh Anand at The Leela Palace New Delhi along with their culinary teams across India have thoughtfully curated menus to achieve the right balance between guests’ health needs and gastronomic expectations by focusing on millets, lean proteins, low-fat dairy and whole grains.

Speaking about the wellness programme, Mr. Anuraag Bhatnagar, Chief Operating Officer, The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts said, “Challenges of the contemporary world and our fast-paced lifestyles often pose a disruption for our overall health. With Aujasya by The Leela, we are embarking on a lifelong commitment to holistic wellbeing, enhancing each of our guests’ stays to create a positive impact in their lives.

Aujasya by The Leela food menu includes wholesome and well-balanced dishes that take into account nutritional values and food synergies. The exciting menu includes dishes that are rich in antioxidants, immunity boosting and are nutrient dense. But it doesn’t stop at food alone. The brand will continue to develop the wellness initiative to be a visible and essential offering in all aspects of service, wellness experiences, mindfulness and beyond. Through this unique program, The Leela is committing to curating experiences that resonate with the evolving needs of a discerning luxury traveler.

The second pillar Renew (Mindfulness), curated in partnership with ThinkRight.me by JetSynthesys, India’s leading meditation and mindfulness platform guiding people to live a happy and balanced life. Inspired by the ancient Sanskrit word that describes “vigour of life” Renew-Mindfulness, is built as an online platform which presents four segments of a balanced mind and body. Exclusively created by ThinkRight.me, these include Maitri (Loving Kindness), Samskara (Inner Refinement), Ekaa (Being One) and Sukh (Mind and Body Balance).

Each segment consists of guided Meditation, Sound Healing and Yoga. Guests can seamlessly access these exclusively curated sessions during their stay at The Leela properties. The program also has a special section for children called Aujasya Junior that encourages children to take mindful steps towards a happier and calmer future.

Wellness is integral to The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts programming with yoga sessions, skin exfoliating treatments to Ayurvedic Abhyanga therapies across each of its properties to fully Renew.

Actively restoring and renewing our bodies is a continuous journey and The Leela makes it easier for you to keep this focus top of mind when staying in one of the  hotels.
