Abu Dhabi- – Talea by Antonio Guida, the Italian restaurant serving “Cucina di Famiglia” (meaning traditional family recipes) of Emirates Place, Abu Dhabi, has been distinguished with a Michelin star in the guide’s inaugural Abu Dhabi edition. Adding to the accolades, Chef Luigi Stinga was also awarded the Young Chef Award for Talea by Antonio Guida.
The team at both Talea and Emirates Place, Abu Dhabi are honoured to be featured in the capital’s first Michelin Guide, with a menu inspired by traditional household dishes from across Italy. Talea opened earlier this year and is Chef Antonio Guida’s first restaurant outside of Italy. From handmade ravioli and artisanal pizza to osso buco and vitello tonnato, the summer dish of chilled veal in tuna-caper sauce that forms an indispensable part of the Assumption Day feast in Milan, the gastronomic delights of Talea fuse traditional techniques with an innovative edge in a manner signature to Guida.
