London -: The Saudi Tourism Authority inaugurated the “Land of Saudi Arabia” pavilion at the World Travel Market (WTM) 2025, showcasing a notable presence of 71 partners from the Saudi tourism ecosystem. Running from November 4th to 6th, the pavilion aimed to foster cooperation and establish new strategic partnerships to enhance the growth of the tourism sector.

The pavilion served as a gateway to Saudi Arabia’s premier tourist destinations, including the historical Al-Ula, modern Riyadh, culturally rich Jeddah, and luxurious resorts along the Red Sea. It also highlighted the exceptional events scheduled for this year’s Saudi Winter program, featuring the Formula 1 race, Soundstorm Festival, Winter at Tantora, the Italian and Spanish Super Cups, and WWE wrestling events, along with an interactive area for Riyadh Season events.

Additionally, the pavilion showcased an international campaign featuring global football star Cristiano Ronaldo, further establishing Saudi Arabia as a hub for tourism, sports, and entertainment. Key announcements included luxury tourism projects on Shura Island in the Red Sea, the launch of the Six Flags theme park in Qiddiya, and a range of entertainment and cultural events that reflect Saudi Arabia’s tourism identity.

Mr. Abdullah Al-Haqbani, CEO of Partnerships and Regulatory Affairs at the Saudi Tourism Authority, expressed pride in representing the Kingdom at WTM. He noted, “Our participation, alongside 71 partners from both public and private sectors, showcases the rapid growth of Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector. We aim to strengthen cooperation and pave the way for strategic partnerships that will elevate tourism to new heights.” He added, “With continued investment in infrastructure and expanding air connectivity, Saudi Arabia is becoming a sustainable tourism destination open year-round. We invite global travel partners to join us in shaping the future of tourism and seizing the outstanding investment opportunities available.”

This participation follows a remarkable year for Saudi Arabia, which welcomed nearly 116 million visitors in 2024 and achieved tourism spending exceeding $75 billion, solidifying its position as one of the fastest-growing tourist destinations globally.
