Riyadh : Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Tourism Authority, a significant strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between the Saudi Tourism Authority and Qatar Tourism on Sunday, November 9, 2025. This collaboration aims to enhance tourism promotion and marketing efforts, fostering growth in the tourism sectors of both nations.

The MOU was officially signed by His Excellency Mr. Fahad Hameed Al-Din, CEO and Board Member of the Saudi Tourism Authority, and Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al-Mawlawi, Head of Marketing and Promotion at Qatar Tourism and CEO of Zurwa Qatar.
The signing ceremony was attended by high-level delegations from both countries, including His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Al-Khatib, the Minister of Tourism, and Mr. Saad bin Ali Al-Kharji, Chairman of Qatar Tourism.
During the meeting, representatives discussed strategies for cooperation in international tourism forums and organizations, focusing on areas of mutual interest and sharing best practices to develop the tourism sector further. This initiative reflects the Saudi Tourism Authority’s commitment to building cooperative relationships with key leaders and officials in the regional and global tourism industry, fostering experience exchange and collaboration towards shared objectives.
