Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia-: SAS, a leader in analytics and AI, announced its partnership with Basserah. Sharing the same philosophy of driving change and assisting businesses in turning times of uncertainty into growth opportunities via the power of data, the two companies are set to usher in a new age of advanced analytics and AI in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Basserah’s strategy is focused on data and robotics process automation (RPA). The Saudi company, established by NOMD holding, helps its customers throughout the Kingdom to capitalize on their data and automate their repetitive activities via its services, in order to maximize return on investment (ROI), meet commercial and strategic objectives, and automate business processes. Since Saudi Arabia has set specific targets to transform into a digital society and economy through utilizing data as a national asset, Basserah’s collaboration with SAS unlocks a whole new world of possibilities for Saudi organizations.

With SAS industry-leading solutions now part of its portfolio, Basserah’s customers can experience the future of analytics today. SAS and Basserah provide analytics solutions for businesses of all sizes that need to solve problems, improve productivity, streamline operations, and support sustainable innovation faster, even with limited resources. These offerings range from the scalable, cloud-native SAS Viya and advanced fraud detection solutions to AI, composite AI, and AI-driven decision making with real-time analytics.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is also actively promoting the use of AI in support of Vision 2030 and the Smart Government Strategy. According to a PwC report, Saudi Arabia’s AI market is predicted to surpass US$135,2 billion by 2030, contributing 12.4% to the Kingdom’s gross domestic product. Furthermore, as part of its National Strategy for Data & AI, Saudi Arabia aims to rank among the top 15 countries in AI globally and to transform its workforce by educating and establishing a pool of 20,000 AI and data scientists.

Abdulaziz Almalki, Chief Executive Officer of Basserah, commented: “Data is one of the most significant assets for businesses today, yet using and capitalizing on it are difficult undertakings. Basserah strives to assist companies ranging from startups to big organizations across all industries in achieving market success, as well as government and semi-government entities in meeting strategic goals and objectives. We are delighted to partner with SAS, and we look forward to augmenting our customers’ capabilities with the world’s most sophisticated analytics and AI tools and solutions.”

“The Saudi Arabian AI and advanced analytics market has vast potential, reinforced by several initiatives aligned with Vision 2030, and we are thrilled that it is now easier than ever for Basserah’s customers to join the SAS family. From addressing the most pressing sustainability challenges to improving decision-making and accelerating the digital transformation across all industries, SAS analytics and AI solutions transform data into intelligence that drives progress.” said Bader Bahaian, Country Manager, KSA at ‎SAS.
