Dubai, United Arab Emirates-: Culinary masterminds, Marc Hardiman of Bull & Bear and Daniel Birk of Row on 45 are partnering for one-night only to offer the city’s gourmands an exclusive Four Hands experience like no other this 24 February.
Hosted at Waldorf Astoria DIFC’s signature restaurant Bull & Bear, the collaboration is formed in efforts to celebrate the gastronomic artistry from visionaries in the field. Recently appointed Chef Patron Marc Hardiman, celebrated for maintaining a Michelin Star at The Ritz, London, brings his visionary approach to Bull & Bear by Marc Hardiman, and will work directly with Daniel Birk – distinguished Executive Chef at Row on 45 whose expertise played an integral part in the renowned establishment receiving two iconic Michelin Stars in the 2024 ceremony.
Promising a storied dining approach that combines a flavoursome and innovative menu, each dish will serve to tell a tale told from personal experiences. The specially curated menu will be served within an intimate ambience that will entice diners far beyond the plate, this exclusive evening will see a seven-course series of dishes transport restaurant-goers to a unique culinary experience like no other. Guests can expect to savour on plates inclusive of wagyu beef tartare with pickled shimeji and perilla leaf, the noirmoutier potato with caviar, Brittany quail accompanied with pistachio and foie gras, crab sandwich with citrus ponzu and N25 caviar; as well as the bodo scallop, and ‘After Eight’ chocolate and mint dessert to name just a few. The experience is priced at AED 650, with an additional cost of AED 425 for the drinks pairing and AED 655 for the exclusive Sommelier selection. In collaboration with Claudia de Brito, Gulf Chair – MENA’s 50 Best, the one-night event will host diners starting from 7:00pm.
Row on 45, was a new addition to the Michelin Guide Dubai in 2024 and was the only new addition to receive two stars. Executive Chef, Daniel Birk will showcase his creative culinary flair, honed through years of mastering standout dishes to deliver an exceptional affair with fellow Brit Chef Patron Marc Hardiman. Together they promise a dining experience that celebrates the originality of both chefs and their craft.
In 2025, Row on 45 made a remarkable leap on the MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants list, climbing from position 41 in 2024 to an incredible 17 this year, earning the prestigious Highest Climber Award. Adding to its accolades, the restaurant was recently honoured at the Gault&Millau ceremony, where it received an outstanding four toques and was named Restaurant of the Year. Chef Daniel Birk’s visionary approach was further recognized as he was awarded Chef of the Year, solidifying Row on 45’s status as a leader in the region’s fine dining scene.
