Guests and gaming fans can now put their racing skills to the test at Holiday Inn’s Gaming Pods, with IHG One Rewards points and EStars goods up for grabs
Holiday Inn, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts‘ Essentials Collection, is putting a new spin on its Level Up Your Stay experience with the launch of an F1 25 racing competition across four hotels in Saudi Arabia.
Following the launch of the Holiday Inn x Elite Gaming Pods, the new competition invites guests and gaming fans to take to the virtual track in F1 25, the Formula 1 racing simulation game from EA Sports, and compete to set the fastest lap around the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
Players can take part by visiting one of the participating Elite Gaming Pods and scanning the QR code displayed at the pod to register, before putting their driving skills to the test.
Running until 17 October 2026, the competition will feature mini tournament moments throughout, giving players multiple opportunities to win prizes, with the top three overall winners announced on 19 October.
The prize pool includes EStars gifts, from T-shirts and caps to branded power banks and mobile phone accessories, alongside IHG One Rewards points.
For winners, IHG One Rewards points can be redeemed in a number of ways, including Reward Nights across IHG Hotels & Resorts’ global portfolio of thousands of hotels around the world, as well as Points + Cash bookings, where members pay for part of a stay with points and the rest with cash, and a variety of curated experiences and other rewards. As IHG One Rewards members, winners can also access exclusive member rates and earn Milestone Rewards as they progress through the programme. Whether it’s a weekend escape or a bucket-list holiday, winners can choose how they make the most of their prize.
The competition forms part of Holiday Inn’s wider partnership with EStars, which has brought two Elite Gaming Pods to each participating hotel. The spaces feature MSI gaming PCs, next-generation consoles, curved monitors, premium accessories and ergonomic seating, with complimentary access to popular titles including Fortnite, Rocket League and Overwatch.
Designed as social spaces for families, friends and fellow gamers, the pods give guests a new way to play, connect and spend time together during their stay, while the F1 25 challenge adds a competitive edge for those looking to take on the leaderboard.

The gaming pods will remain available at participating hotels until December 2026.
Important: Participants under the age of 18 will need to link a parent or guardian’s IHG One Rewards account, or have a parent or guardian register on their behalf, in order to claim any IHG One Rewards prize.
