Riyadh : The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has taken a significant leap forward in enhancing visitor experiences with the launch of the pilot phase of its tourist package visa service. This new offering allows eligible travelers to secure a tourist visa as part of a comprehensive travel bundle, aligning with the Kingdom’s broader strategy to simplify entry procedures and strengthen its appeal in global tourism markets.
The service integrates flight bookings, licensed hotel accommodations, and electronic visa issuance into a single, streamlined booking process. Travelers can also add events, attractions, and curated activities to their packages, minimizing administrative hurdles and ensuring a smoother journey—from trip planning to arrival in the Kingdom.
Packages are priced from SAR 4,000, with a minimum stay of two nights. Each package can accommodate up to fourteen travelers, offering families and groups greater flexibility to plan their trips and enjoy a fully coordinated travel experience.
During the initial pilot phase, the service is available to visitors from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Egypt, Jordan, and Mexico. Accredited travel and tourism providers are being carefully selected to support the rollout, with plans to expand the initiative in subsequent phases.
Beyond improving the visitor journey, the initiative is set to strengthen the private sector’s role in Saudi tourism. By enabling travel companies to offer integrated products that combine bookings and visa services, it encourages longer stays and greater exploration of the Kingdom’s diverse attractions.
This launch is part of a broader series of programs designed to ease access to Saudi destinations—efforts that have already contributed to rapid sector growth. The Kingdom is expected to welcome over 29 million international visitors by 2025, reinforcing its ambition to become a leading global tourism hub.
The package visa service marks a new chapter in Saudi tourism development, blending digital transformation, private-sector collaboration, and simplified procedures. It represents a more integrated model for the visitor journey, directly supporting the goals of Vision 2030 to position the Kingdom among the world’s premier travel destinations.
