Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia-: Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah, Riyadh welcomes L~ARIA, the Italian fine-dining concept all the way from Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como. Bringing the flavours of the Mediterranean to the heart of Riyadh between 4 December and 26 February, this exclusive pop-up offers a world of gastronomic discovery and delight.
Helmed by Chef Massimiliano Blasone, L~ARIA offers a relaxed and convivial gourmet experience. The highly curated menu fuses traditional Italian dishes with strong Oriental influences. Japanese cooking practices and techniques enhance the finest seasonal ingredients, resulting in wonderfully elaborate creations designed to be shared.
Chef Massimiliano Blasone commented: “I am thrilled to be in residence at Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah, Riyadh to launch the international L~ARIA pop-up. I can’t wait to see our Saudi guests’ reactions as we bring a little taste of Lake Como to the Capital for three months.”
On the menu, savoury delicacies include Hamachi Crudo, Lobster Tempura, Truffle Taglioni, and Waygu A5 – finishing on a high note with desserts such as the signature Tortino L~ARIA or Artisanal Gelato. The elevated cuisine is complemented by an array of mocktails that transform each meal into an unforgettable culinary adventure.
Additionally, L~ARIA will be offering a memorable Saturday brunch on a weekly basis from 1:00pm to 4:00pm throughout the pop-up, showcasing the finest Mediterranean-inspired dishes in a vibrant and social setting.
Guests can expect to be transported to Lake Como through bright interiors that recall the warmth and relaxation of the Mediterranean. Mandarin Oriental’s exciting pop up is at the centre of the Olaya dining district, offering floor-to-ceiling views of the bustling city and Al Faisaliah Tower.
