Jeddah : As Ramadan approaches, Makkah, Madina and Jeddah have entered an advanced state of readiness to welcome millions of visitors and pilgrims. Coordinated organization and services across the three cities ensure each plays its vital role in the Umrah journey while complementing the others during the holy month.

Makkah’s preparations prioritize Umrah rituals with an integrated system for crowd management, streamlined movement of pilgrims, and enhanced services in and around the Grand Mosque. Authorities have organized entry and exit routes, expanded transportation, and strengthened health and guidance services to ensure smooth, peaceful performance of rituals—especially during the high-traffic last ten days of Ramadan. The opening of Rotana Jabal Omar increases central accommodation capacity, offering pilgrims more convenient lodging close to the Haram.

In Madina, the focus is on preserving the city’s spiritual and tranquil character. Preparations center on creating a contemplative atmosphere around the Prophet’s Mosque, managing the flow of worshippers and visitors, and maintaining calm, efficient services. New hotel openings—including Radisson Hotel Madinah, Makarem Burj Madinah, Diyar Ajwa, and Peninsula Wurth Madinah—add capacity and accommodation options to meet the increased demand.

Jeddah, as the international gateway to the Two Holy Mosques, concentrates on facilitating arrivals and departures and organizing pre- and post-Umrah journeys. Airports, transport networks, and hospitality facilities are operating at high readiness, while expanded dining and leisure options cater to visitors’ needs during Ramadan. The recent opening of Rixos Murjana Resort in King Abdullah Economic City further strengthens luxury accommodation and supports tourism momentum beyond the holy month.

Together, these three cities deliver a unified Ramadan experience—beginning with arrival in Jeddah, continuing with Umrah in Mecca, and culminating in Madina—providing a cohesive model of organization and hospitality to serve the guests of God during one of the most spiritually significant seasons of the year.
