Dubai :  Fatafeat, the region’s leading food network, announces the launch of its latest original production, Kitchen Tales: Flavors of the Gulf, an inspiring new series that celebrates the diversity, richness, and shared traditions of Gulf cuisine.

Hosted by Emirati chef Sumaya Obaid, this engaging 30 episode series takes viewers on a flavorful journey across the Gulf, exploring beloved dishes from the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, and beyond. Each episode highlights how iconic recipes evolve across borders, showcasing the subtle differences, cultural nuances, and personal touches that make every version unique.

Bringing a fresh and dynamic format to the series, each episode is thoughtfully divided into two segments. In the first, Chef Sumaya prepares a traditional Gulf dish, highlighting its cultural roots, ingredients, and time-honored techniques. In the second segment, she reimagines those same flavors in an unexpected way, infusing them into a well-known international dish to create a unique fusion that bridges cultures and cuisines.

From classic recipes such as Harees to inventive creations like Harees-inspired risotto, the series blends authenticity with creativity, offering a new perspective on how Gulf flavors can evolve while staying true to their origins.

In each episode, viewers can expect a rich blend of culinary inspiration and cultural storytelling, from time-honored traditions to contemporary interpretations, offering a heartfelt celebration of the Gulf’s identity through food.
