Dammam : Saudi cities are witnessing a surge in tourism, coinciding with the launch of the Saudi Winter 2025 program, initiated by the Saudi Tourism Authority under the slogan “Winter Lives.”
The Eastern Province shines as a key tourist destination in Saudi Arabia, welcoming visitors with its mild climate and diverse events, from the beaches of Al-Khobar to its traditional markets and waterfront parks.
This period marks a tourism boom, driven by the region’s strategic Arabian Gulf coast location and modern facilities that combine contemporary style with Saudi hospitality. Al-Khobar is the vibrant heart of the season, transforming its waterfront into a lively spectacle of art, culture, and entertainment that attracts families and young people from Saudi Arabia and abroad.
The Al-Khobar Season highlights the “Winter District,” featuring musical events, family experiences, and marine activities. Notable concerts include Rabeh Saqer on October 30th, the Kuwaiti band Miami on October 31st, and a poetry evening on November 14th, showcasing Gulf music and cultural heritage.
Al-Khobar also hosts ongoing entertainment like “The Market,” from October 23rd to November 22nd, and the “Naseem Al-Khobar Festival,” running until January 31st, 2026. These festivals offer a variety of experiences, blending marine activities, open-air cafes, and a family-friendly atmosphere along the waterfront.
These events reflect the Eastern Province’s development as a winter tourism destination, featuring diverse landscapes, luxury hotels, and upscale restaurants offering multi-cultural culinary experiences. As November approaches, the vibrant rhythm of the season continues, reinforcing the Eastern Province’s status as a key destination in the “Winter District” program, where sea breezes mingle with music and festival lights, showcasing the richness of Saudi experiences.
This year’s “Winter District” program highlights Saudi Arabia’s geographical, cultural, and climatic diversity, featuring over 1,200 tourism products and more than 600 special offers, supported by over 120 private sector partners. These partners provide innovative products and unique experiences, solidifying Saudi Arabia’s position among the world’s leading tourist destinations.
