A Homegrown Concept Combining a Roastery, Brew Lounge and Omakase in One

Dubai : Dubai’s coffee culture is about to enter a bold new chapter. On Friday 1st August 2025, Julith opens its doors – a homegrown concept that is part roastery, part brew lounge, part concept store, and part social hub. Designed for discerning coffee drinkers and creative communities alike, Julith is poised to redefine the city’s coffee experience.

Every cup at Julith begins long before it reaches the barista’s hands. The journey begins in remote corners of the world – from high-altitude farms and volcanic slopes to remote microclimates around the globe, where rich soil, balanced rainfall, and ideal humidity nurture beans with exceptional character. Once harvested, the beans are handled with uncompromising care. Timing, temperature, and precision are everything; each batch is roasted in-house by Head Coffee Roaster & Turkish Champion Barista, Serkan Sagsoz, who fine-tunes every profile to reveal layered notes and a sense of place in every sip. The process is exacting, but the reward is a cup that feels alive – complex, balanced, and unlike anything else in Dubai.

Julith’s coffee programme blends precision with innovation across three stations. At the Espresso Bar, three S65 grinders and precision scales deliver the house chocolate-forward blend, as well as two single-origin coffees. The Slow Brew Bar offers pour-over V60 coffees, with an option to upgrade to rare beans – some aged up to a year – stored in the bar-top freezer. A standout innovation is the Rotovap Milk Programme, which removes water from milk to achieve an ultra-creamy, naturally sweet finish – also available with plant-based and lactose-free options.

Beyond its coffee, the beverage menu explores vibrant flavours and wellness‑led options such as Matcha ColadaHojicha LatteBlue MatchaTonka FizzSumac Lemonade, and Banana Protein Shake.

An elevated all‑day dining menu that bridges comfort and creativity, reimagining familiar classics with unexpected flavour combinations and refined presentation. Highlights include:

  • Julith Benedict (braised beef cheek, arugula, poached eggs, crispy potato, hollandaise)
  • Dubai Benedict (cheese Mille-Feuille, crispy fried eggs, seared bacon, arugula, hollandaise)

Spanning two light-filled levels, Julith’s interiors are warm yet modern, featuring double-height windows, pale wood, concrete, and steel, softened by foliage and deep navy textiles. The ground floor centres on an open coffee bar and glass-walled roastery, where guests can watch the craft unfold. Above the espresso bar, a split‑flap showcases personalised affirmations throughout the day.

The lounge also flows into Julith’s concept store, showcasing a rotating selection of beautifully designed items – from bespoke ceramics and coffee accessories to lifestyle pieces inspired by Dubai. Each item is curated to reflect Julith’s aesthetic: thoughtful, functional, and quietly striking.

Upstairs, the duplex lounge is anchored by a striking cherry blossom tree, surrounded by seating nooks and three soundproof private work pods – free to book for meetings or quiet focus. This level will also feature Julith’s upcoming Omakase Room, an intimate space for curated coffee tastings led by Serkan Sagsoz.

“Julith was born from a desire to create something more than a café – we wanted to build a space where coffee is experienced, not just consumed. Every detail, from the sourcing of rare beans to the way we roast and brew, is about slowing down and celebrating the ritual,” says Serkan Sagsoz, Head Coffee Roaster & Turkish Barista Champion. “Dubai is ready for this next level of coffee culture, and Julith is our way of sharing it with the community and then the world.”

Opening on Friday 1st  August 2025.
