Dubai, UAE-: Disney and Pixar’s latest animated film, “Inside Out 2,” premieres today in cinemas across the UAE and the region. Plus, in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Egypt, cinema goers will have the option of watching the film dubbed in Arabic as well!
“Inside Out 2” returns to the mind of Riley as she enters… high school! Now in her teenage years, Riley’s emotional Headquarters is undergoing a demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation, aren’t exactly sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up, and she’s brought along friends EmbarrassmentEnvy, and Ennui!
The Arabic voice cast, featuring fully Arab talent, includes Areej Foda as Joy, Habeeba Hatem as Anxiety, Asma Abul-Yazeed as Ennui, Noha Kaiss as Envy, David Berty as Embarrassment, Lillian El-Sherbini as Sadness, Kholoud Adel as Disgust, Hisham El-Guindi as Fear, Mohamed Hamdy as Anger, and Haneen El-Nems as Riley.
The English voice cast includes Amy Poehler, Maya Hawke, Kensington Tallman, Liza Lapira, Tony Hale, Lewis Black, Phyllis Smith, Ayo Edebiri, Lilimar, Grace Lu, Sumayyah Nuriddin-Green, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Diane Lane, Kyle MacLachlan, Paul Walter Hauser and Yvette Nicole Brown.
Directed by Kelsey Mann, produced by Mark Nielsen and executive produced by Pete Docter, Jonas Rivera and Dan Scanlon, the film features a screenplay by Meg LeFauve and Dave Holstein and story by Mann and LeFauve, with music by Andrea Datzman.
