The Chefs Carnival Club held its regular meeting to review past achievements and outline upcoming strategic engagements as the representative of the Saudi culinary community in local and international forums. The meeting also featured announcements regarding new initiatives to honor and empower its members.

Full Organization of Foodex Announced as Key Highlight

In recognition of club members securing 80% of the live cooking competition awards at last year’s Foodex International Exhibition, the club announced it has been officially commissioned to fully organize this year’s competition. The club will manage the event end-to-end with an international judging panel and marshals. It will also organize live cooking demonstrations and tasting experiences involving the Tasting and Cultural Documentation teams, while offering members the opportunity to participate as competitors.

International Presence and Saudi National Day Celebration in Amman

The club is preparing for its participation in the Knights and Dames of Peace Conference in Amman, Jordan, scheduled for September 26–30. This participation coincides with the appointment of Dr. Howaida Jammal Al-Layl to the Supreme Advisory Council of Knights of Peace, where she will also lead the participating delegation and serve as its official spokesperson.

During the conference, the club will host a special Saudi National Day celebration highlighting national identity through several key themes:

  • Success Stories: Chef Ambassador Lulwah Al-Ezza, Chef Ambassador Manal Al-Khulaidi, and Dr. Fouad Asaad (Head of the Tasting Team) will share their professional journeys and experiences.
  • Fashion and Heritage: Saudi fashion designer and heritage ambassador Reem Assaelan will present a showcase highlighting the diversity of traditional attire across the Kingdom’s regions.
  • Traditional Cuisine: A select group of professional chefs will serve traditional dishes reflecting authentic Saudi cuisine, with historical context presented by Chef Majdah Abu Auf and Ms. Ilham Rawas.

Operational Readiness and Executive Supervision

The regular meeting included a live tasting trial and evaluation of the dishes scheduled for presentation in Jordan to ensure high quality and authentic heritage representation.

Field operations and media coordination for the delegation will be managed by Chef Abeer Al-Ashi, Chef Asmaa, and Ms. Thekrayat Khalid. These efforts are guided by co-founders Dr. Chef Muneera Al-Yemen and Dr. Chef Waad Flemban, reflecting unified teamwork under the motto: “From Vision to Global Impact.”
