Dubai : Careem becomes the first digital platform in the region to launch a corporate payments solution across multiple app services through ‘Careem for Business’.
The new service enables companies to centrally manage and pay for employee expenses across rides, food and grocery, logistics, and more. Through a single account, they can onboard employees, set customized spending controls, and receive one consolidated monthly invoice.
Employees use company-sponsored allowances without the hassle of reimbursements, claims, or multiple vendors. The service can cover a wide range of needs – from team lunches via Careem Food and pantry restocks through Careem Quik, to office supplies on Careem Shops and deliveries with Careem Box. At checkout, employees simply switch to “Business” mode and pay using the company’s pre-approved method.
For finance and admin teams, Careem for Business provides a single dashboard with full visibility of employee spending, making it easier to track, budget, and control costs across departments. Controls can be applied by department, time of day, or even geolocation.
Careem for Business was previously available only for Rides, where it has already facilitated over one million corporate bookings for tens of thousands of employees. Organizations across sectors like telecommunications, banking, and consulting rely on it for everyday commutes. With this expansion, Careem now addresses broader corporate needs for transparent and cost-effective expense management across multiple services.
