Known for their quintessentially British hotels, restaurants and clubs, Campbell Gray Hotels has brought its signature flair to Dubai, with the first opening of Café Gray, a new British all-day dining concept that takes five-star hotel restaurant service to the high street. Located in the Dubai Hills Mall, Café Gray is a new edition of the renowned restaurant cafe at hotel Le Gray in Beirut, and serves a blend of British and the best of international favourites to the people of Dubai, welcoming them to a ‘home away from home’ atmosphere.
The all-day brasserie’s British identity is reflected in every aspect, from the menu to the cosy interiors, reminiscent of the London Underground tunnels and arches, adding an air of exclusivity whilst allowing for a private escape from the bustling crowds of the mall. With no visible sides, the restaurant provides an immersive experience, adding an element of mystery and intrigue to each guest’s dining experience.
Café Gray’s unashamedly British charm is reflected in the artwork and décor that adorn the space, as well as the thoughtfully selected playlist of British music from past and present, further exemplified by its unique feature – a genuine red telephone box, shipped all the way from a London street to Dubai, which adds a touch of authenticity to the restaurant’s ambiance.
Upon visiting Café Gray, guests can experience the best of British hospitality and service while enjoying decadent food prepared with art and a pinch of love. The team’s culinary expertise shines through in the menu, offering a range of dishes for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner, including nostalgic favourites like Traditional English Breakfast, Shepherd’s Pie, Sticky Toffee Pudding, and the Café Gray Signature Fish and Chips, as well as European classics such as Traditional Georgian Khachapuri, and Amalfi-inspired Lobster Pasta. The restaurant also serves freshly made savoury and sweet pizzas such as the Bresaola, Eggplant & Chicken Caponata, Quattro Formaggi, and Fig & Ricotta.
An expansive and specially curated drinks menu is also available with options of hot and iced coffees, healthy shots, refreshing smoothies and milkshakes, and the restaurant’s creative signature mocktails and mojitos. To truly immerse in British culture, a special Afternoon Tea is available with a selection of flavours from the Tea Bar paired with homemade scones, savoury finger sandwiches, and sweet treats.
