Bursa Culture, Tourism and Promotion Union introduced “Bursa, the most beautiful city of all time” at a special promotional event held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The event took place on Tuesday, 27 January 2026, at Mövenpick Hotel City Star Jeddah, and was attended by mayors from Bursa, tourism professionals from Bursa, H.E. Mustafa Ünal, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Jeddah, H.E. Ambassador Cenk Uraz, Permanent Representative of Türkiye to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, executives from Turkish Airlines Jeddah Office, members of the press, and tour operators operating in Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, Bursa’s destination identity was highlighted, tourism routes were presented, and the city’s advantages for Saudi Arabian visitors were discussed in detail. B2B meetings were also held between participating delegations. Particular emphasis was placed on Bursa’s transportation infrastructure and the fact that Bursa Yenişehir Airport is open to both direct and charter flights for airline companies.
Thanks to its strategic geographical location, Bursa stands out as a central destination for Saudi tourists seeking leisure travel in Türkiye. Located within approximately one hour by road from nearby cities such as Istanbul, Balıkesir, and Eskişehir, Bursa offers a unique combination of attractions including Uludağ Ski Resort, thermal facilities, rich local cuisine, historic inns and külliyes reflecting its living Ottoman heritage, a well-developed health tourism infrastructure, and a four-season climate—making it a priority destination for visitors.
With 550 hotels and 465 travel agencies operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye, Bursa possesses strong experience and capacity in the tourism sector.
Bursa Culture, Tourism and Promotion Union will also participate in the JTTX Jeddah International Tourism and Travel Exhibition, to be held from 28–30 January 2026 at the Jeddah International Exhibition and Convention Center.
