Abu Dhabi, UAE-: BRED Abu Dhabi, Presented by Hypebeast, the region’s ultimate neo-culture festival, opened with a bang on 26 April, bringing visitors a star-studded line-up of performances by international and regional artists including, Omar Souleyman, and Jazzy Jeff. A night of exhilarating performances at the festival’s Opening Party was followed by a celebration of 50 years of hip hop with Def Jam featuring Armani White, 2 Chainz, and Dave East at the BRED Arena Stage on 27 April.

 The weekend has even more in store for visitors, with performances by 6LACK, Headie One, Lina Makoul, Ahmed Santa, and Narcy on 28 April. Big Sean, Freek, Giggs, and Digga D will take the stage on 29 April. Five days of non-stop jams will come to an end at the BRED Closing Party with foot-tapping beats by Balti, Afroto, Tagne, The Synaptik, and El Rass.

Bringing visitors one-of-a-kind experiences rooted in street-culture, the festival – named after the “Born and Bred” idiom and the glory of ‘Black and Red’ sneakers – is a celebration of the region’s urban scene and delivers a packed agenda from exclusive fashion and retail drops to street food concepts and much more.

Visitors can check out a mix of local, regional and international fashion labels at THE ALLEY, with exclusive drops, such as the Travis Scott X Jordan 1 Low sneakers that dropped on Day 1, in collaboration with Paperboy and amongst few. Indulge in mouth-watering street-food from around the world, including Meltsmith, Librae Bakery, Sweet Chick, Hypebeans, and Ravi. Featuring basketball hype and futsal games, THE COURTS invites visitors to test out their goal-scoring skills with freestyle football shows, tournaments, skill sessions and other challenging activities, including an Iconic Dunk Show. For gaming enthusiasts, THE GAME ZONE is the perfect urban-style hangout space complete with e-gaming setups, tournaments, a BRED Chat/Podcast area, console area, and speaker chillout lounge.

Tickets are on sale through BRED’s official website at www.bredabudhabi.com. General Admission tickets offer visitors full access to BRED Abu Dhabi for one day, excluding concerts and paid attractions (AED 75 on weekends). With every ticket purchased, festivalgoers can get two months of unlimited ad-free music with Anghami Plus. Access to concerts includes BRED Plus passes at AED 195, BRED Fanatic passes at AED 295 and BRED VIP passes at AED 345. VIP tables for the concerts and after parties at the BRED Arena
