DUBAI – beOnd, the world’s first premium leisure airline, closes 2025 with a series of transformative achievements that have strengthened its global footprint, elevated the inflight experience, and unlocked new gateways to the world’s most desirable leisure destinations. With 37% year-on-year growth, 25,000+ customers to date, and a rapidly expanding fleet, 2025 stands as the airline’s most impactful year yet.

Throughout 2025, beOnd strengthened its position as a leader in purposeful luxury travel, elevating every stage of the journey through lie-flat seating, chef-curated dining, dedicated wellness partnerships, and a seamless end-to-end guest experience. This commitment, paired with a disciplined operating model, translated into significant financial and operational progress.

Looking ahead, the airline is on a defined growth trajectory toward a 56-aircraft fleet by 2030, including bases in the Maldives, across GCC countries, in the United States and in India, positioning beOnd for sustained global expansion.

A Year of Unprecedented Network Growth

beOnd broadened its international footprint in 2025, introducing a series of strategic routes designed to connect key global cities with the Maldives and the emerging Red Sea region. This network expansion reflects the airline’s commitment to offering premium leisure travellers effortless access to some of the world’s most sought-after resort destinations.

New direct routes were launched between Malé and major European hubs, including Munich, Zurich, and Milan, strengthening beOnd’s presence across Central and Southern Europe, providing travellers with seamless lie-flat comfort from departure to destination.

In the Gulf region, beOnd expanded its reach with a new route between Riyadh and Malé, giving travellers in Saudi Arabia direct access to the Maldives’ turquoise lagoons and renowned hospitality.

The airline further enhanced its presence in the UAE by expanding operations from Dubai, now offering connections from Dubai to Malé, Munich, and Zurich, catering to the region’s growing demand for elevated leisure travel.

beOnd Secures National Charter Carrier Tender, Establishing Operations in Saudi Arabia

beOnd has been awarded a national charter carrier tender by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), marking a major milestone in the company’s expansion across Saudi Arabia. The licenses will allow beOnd to operate bespoke domestic and international charter services, with aircraft based and operated within the Kingdom, supporting GACA’s vision to expand travel choices and enhance service quality for passengers.

The announcement was made at a ceremony in Riyadh with representatives from beOnd and GACA. It follows beOnd’s successful participation at TOURISE 2025, the Kingdom’s flagship global tourism and investment forum, where the airline showcased its multi-AOC growth model as an example of innovation driving Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 tourism transformation.

“Saudi Arabia is one of the world’s fastest-growing and most distinctive tourism markets, known for both its ambition and exclusivity. We are grateful for the support of the Kingdom and GACA in helping us establish beOnd Saudi Arabia, bringing a premium experience to discerning travellers through thoughtful design  and genuine hospitality,” said Tero Taskila, Founder and CEO of beOnd.

As part of its ambitious plans, beOnd aims to deploy up to 20 aircraft in Saudi Arabia by 2030, targeting 1 million premium leisure travellers through its expanding network of destinations.
