AlUla : Winter at Tantora, Saudi Arabia’s flagship cultural festival, is set to host an unmissable concert by Arab star Ahlam in a breathtaking celebration of music, heritage, and craftsmanship.
The performance, named ‘Celebrating the Year of the Handicraft with Ahlam’, will take place on 26 December 26 at Thanaya, one of AlUla’s most evocative open-air venues.
Set against the timeless landscape of AlUla, Ahlam’s concert will fuse the spirit of traditional artistry with the grandeur of Gulf music, taking audiences on a captivating journey that honours both culture and creativity.
The Year of the Handicraft celebration highlights Saudi Arabia’s deep-rooted traditions and the beauty of handmade art – from weaving and embroidery to craftsmanship passed through generations. Ahlam’s concert will bring this heritage to life through a spectacular visual and musical narrative.
Ahlam Al Shamsi – known globally simply as Ahlam – is a name synonymous with excellence in Gulf and Arab music. Born in Abu Dhabi, she rose to fame in the 1990s with her breakout album Ahebak Moot and has since become one of the most celebrated voices in the Arab world.
Over nearly three decades, Ahlam has recorded a series of acclaimed albums, including Ma Yisahh Illa As-Sahih, Hatha Ana, Abtahadak, Fedwa ‘Uyunak, and As-Sayyida Al-Oula. She has graced the world’s largest and most prestigious stages, from Jerash and Carthage to Paris’s legendary Olympia and London’s Royal Albert Hall.
In AlUla, Ahlam now brings her artistry to a setting unlike any other, and where music, landscape, and legacy converge.
The concert will be a highlight of Winter at Tantora when the iconic cultural festival returns from 18 December 2025 to 10 January 2026.
The festival invites visitors to explore AlUla’s living heritage through immersive experiences such as Old Town Nights, Midday at Tantora, Shorfat Tantora, Old Town Culinary Voyage, and AlManshiyah Carnival, alongside world-class dining.
As it enters its latest edition, Winter at Tantora continues to celebrate AlUla as a crossroads of culture, where ancient heritage and modern creativity meet in harmony.
Winter at Tantora is part of the AlUla Moments 2025/26 calendar – a year-round series of festivals and events celebrating and showcasing AlUla’s rich history, culture, and natural beauty.
