Leveraging over 20 years of exceptional experience in luxury hospitality, supporting a multidisciplinary finance team across various internationally branded hotels in Makkah and Jeddah, his appointment showcases Shangri-La Jeddah’s commitment to localization and attracting the very best talent.
A testament to Saudi Arabia and its immense pace of change and transformation, Ali brings a wealth of experience in strategic financial leadership and is a significant addition to the hotel’s already distinguished team which won ‘Hotel Team of the Year’ at the Hotelier Saudi Arabia Awards 2023. Boasting a commitment to diversity and inclusivity, with the Saudi Vision 2030 in mind, Ali’s extensive expertise and leadership in managing financial processes and implementing effective risk management systems will play a vital role in upholding and further elevating the hotel’s impeccable reputation in the region.
Shangri-La Jeddah forms part of the 60,015-square-metre mixed-use Burj Assila which is also home to 116 state-of-the-art residences on the buildings top floors, Ali is responsible for all financial aspects of Burj Assila Residences in addition to the day-today management, delivering an exceptional experience for all discerning homeowners.
A financial expert, Ali joins Shangri-La Jeddah from Assila, A Luxury Collection Hotel in Jeddah where he spent the last 8 years, most recently as Director of Finance since 2018. Until recently the hotel was also owned by Assila Investments owners of Shangri-La Jeddah.
