In a remarkable evening that blended history, music, and tradition, the Consulate General of Iraq in Jeddah, under the leadership of Consul General Mr. Muhammad Samir Al-Naqshbandi, hosted a cultural celebration at the University of Business and Technology (UBT). Titled “A Mosul Night Embracing the Bride of the Red Sea,” the event showcased the deep cultural ties between Iraq and Saudi Arabia.

The night was filled with vibrant music, traditional attire, and a fantastic atmosphere. Guests were treated to a mesmerizing selection of Iraqi and Hijazi tunes, creating a musical bridge between the two nations. The performances reflected the soul of each culture, transporting attendees on a journey through history and heritage.

 

One of the highlights of the evening was the display of traditional clothing from various Iraqi regions, alongside Saudi attire representing different parts of the Kingdom. The rich embroidery, colors, and styles told stories of heritage, craftsmanship, and cultural pride.
