The enchanting aromas of Turkish culinary delights filled the air at The Hotel Galleria by Hilton on Tahlia Street, Jeddah, marking the commencement of Turkish Cuisine Week. The event kicked off with a glamorous Gala Dinner, graced by the presence of notable figures including H.E. Ambassador of Türkiye, Cenk Uraz, H.E. Consul of Türkiye, Mustafa Ünal, and the new General Manager of The Galleria Hotel, Ms. Tulin Yilmaz.

The Gala Dinner showcased an impressive assembly of diplomats, media personalities, and leaders from the business community. Attendees were welcomed with traditional Turkish delights, setting the stage for an evening of gastronomic exploration. The dinner featured a selection of Turkey’s most distinguished dishes, beverages, and desserts, creating a comprehensive taste of Turkish culture. Highlights of the evening included a traditional Turkish ice cream show, saj pastries, the iconic simit, and, of course, Turkish tea.

Adding to the cultural showcase, students from the Turkish International School of Jeddah performed a captivating traditional Turkish dance, enchanting guests with the rhythmic beauty of Turkey’s folkloric heritage.

The celebration of Turkish cuisine continues at The Galleria Hotel’s restaurant, The Kitchen, which will host a Turkish cuisine buffet specially Aegean Region from the 22nd to the 24th of May.
