The French offer: a response adapted to Saudi needs

Faced with the challenges of climate and geography, Saudi Arabia imports 80% of its food requirements, particularly meat, fruit, wheat, cereals and rice. The increase in customs duties since June 2022 shows a desire to boost domestic production. In this context, the French offer stands out for its quality, traceability and unique know-how.

France, a pioneer in agri-food, offers a range of products that meet the strictest international standards. French food exports totalled €52 billion in 2022, reflecting international confidence in these products. Products of French origin stand out for their quality, diversity and authentic taste, reflecting the French culinary know-how recognised around the world.

The added value of the French offer also lies in its adaptability. French companies are well aware of the challenges and needs of the evolving Saudi market, and are able to offer customised solutions. Whether halal products, organic products or products adapted to specific diets, the French offer is flexible and innovative to meet the specific demands of the Saudi market.

By participating in the SaudiFood Show 2024, the France Pavilion highlights this added value, offering Saudi professionals the opportunity to discover and appreciate the richness and quality of the French agri-food offering, a true ambassador of French excellence around the world.
