Riyadh – -: The Saudi Tourism Authority announced the launch of the “North Route”, which includes the distinctive tourist sites and landmarks between the Riyadh and Qassim regions, which are worth exploring and visiting during the Saudi Winter Program, which was launched at the beginning of last October, and continues until the end of the first quarter of next year 2025.
The North Route includes a number of natural, historical, heritage and recreational sites and landmarks, starting from the heritage village of Al-Qasab, which is 150 kilometers from the city of Riyadh, then at a distance of 35 kilometers comes the historical Al-Subaie Palace in Shaqra, then the heritage village of Ushaiger, which is about 20 kilometers away, then the Manikh watchtower in Al-Majma’ah, which is about 70 kilometers from Ushaiger.
This enjoyable journey continues to Unaizah Governorate, which is approximately 160 km from Majmaah, and highlights the Al-Bassam Heritage House, Al-Masookf Heritage Market, and Al-Nakheel Avenue. From Unaizah to Buraidah, a distance of 22 km, there is the Craftsmen’s House, Bab Al-Qasr Heritage Gate, Al-Eidan Heritage House, Al-Majlis Market, Asib Avenue, Al-Aqilat Museum, and Hadhim Farm.
