To celebrate its 125th anniversary this year, the Dolder Grand takes guests on a journey that brings together its rich history and the latest in culinary trends in the form of “The Grand Heritage” pop up. Spearheaded by Culinary Director and 2 Michelin star holder Heiko Nieder and running until February 2025, at The Grand Heritage, tradition meets innovation for an unforgettable experience.
A nod to the past, a celebration of the present and a vision for the future, The Grand Heritage takes you back to the opulence of the early 1900’s. The specially curated menu, inspired by the father of Grande Cuisine, legendary Auguste Escoffier, blends classic and contemporary dishes, complemented by an inspired Art Deco setting and the gentle sounds of electro swing.
The French menu personifies the culinary arts and follows the tradition of the finest in classic hospitality, silverware from the original Grand Hotel Dolder archives is used and service staff in their nostalgic vintage outfits play the part. Gentle electro swing sounds round off the ambience perfectly.
Gastronomy has always been at the heart of the Dolder Grand. Its culinary accolades are extensive and international; the iconic city resort holds an impressive 64 GaultMillau points between its sophisticated restaurant concepts and was recently awarded Hotel of the Year 2024 by GaultMillau.
