Dubai, United Arab Emirates-: The French Community club in partnership with the renowned Hilton Dubai Jumeirah in JBR, is back for its 9th edition promoting gastronomy, culture, sports and tourism from the Savoie region of France.

The festival will start on Tuesday, 19t November with an opening night dinner where pop-up restaurant “Le Chalet” will open. With Chef Nicolas Copin from La Ferme du Chozal in Hauteluce, cheese master Jean Rodrigues and La Confrerie de la Fondue Savoyarde and live entertainment by the Echo de l’Alpe musicians setting the tone for Le Chalet.

Le Chalet pop-up restaurant will be open daily fom 20th – 22nd November at Hilton Dubai Jumeirah from 6:30pm till 11pm, a true gastronomic experiences hand crafted by talented chefs, and a cheese master flying in specifically for this event.

What’s new this year at Alp’Fest? The first ever Fondue contest takes place on Thursday, 21st November from 2pm till 6pm with Fondue Savoyade professional category and on Friday, 22nd November from 2pm till 6pm with Fondue Savoyade for amateurs and teenagers followed by the New members’ induction in the Confrerie de la Fondue Savoyarde with a gala dinner by celebrity Chef Nicolas Copin from La ferme du Chozal.
