LuLu Group, the region’s leading retailer, launched Taste New Zealand week, the ‘Made with Care’ government campaign, with an inaugural celebration at LuLu, Diplomatic Quarter, Riyadh on Sunday, the 25th of February.
The event, organized in collaboration with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE), brought the unique flavors and premium quality of New Zealand products to LuLu Hypermarkets in Riyadh, Jeddah, Yanbu, and Dammam.
Attendees had the opportunity to taste and experience the flavors of New Zealand’s premium food and beverage items on the inauguration day. The showcased products spanned across dairy, honey, meat, and produce categories, reflecting the diversity and excellence that New Zealand is known for in the global food industry.
The second event of it’s kind in the Kingdom, Taste New Zealand Week 2024 will showcase the products of seven distinguished New Zealand brands, including Egmont Honey, Fonterra, Mānuka Doctor, Rockit™ apple, Silver Fern Farms, Wattie’s, and NIG Nutritionals.
The event aimed to highlight the special connection that New Zealand producers have to their land and sea, focusing on a relationship founded on care and respect for nature.
Joel Sims, New Zealand’s Trade Commissioner for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait said,

LuLu Hypermarket, known for providing a wide range and exclusive selection of products from around the world, showcased premium New Zealand products to their customers. Shehim Mohamed, Director of Lulu Hypermarkets in Saudi Arabia, commented on the positive reception:
