‏London -: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the “Land of Saudi Arabia” region, concluded its participation in the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, where the Saudi Tourism Authority “Spirit of Saudi Arabia” participated in the presence of more than 70 partners of the Saudi tourism system in the World Travel Market, which was held during the period from 5 to 7 November 2024.

‏The “Spirit of Saudi Arabia” hosted many interactive experiences that highlighted unique tourist destinations and activities, natural, and cultural diversity, and qualitative and global events that are held throughout the Kingdom. The pavilion also witnessed the launch of His Excellency the Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Tourism Authority, Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khateeb, of the global campaign to promote Red Sea destinations under the slogan “Saudi Red Sea”, which was the most prominent event of participation.

‏The “Spirit of Saudi Arabia” also included various partners from tourist destinations, hotels, airlines, travel and tourism companies, , which facilitated the integration of the tourism system participating in the global travel market, and contributed to unifying efforts and maximizing the gains of the Saudi tourism system and achieving its goals, while the “Spirit of Saudi Arabia” witnessed the signing of a number of memoranda of understanding and strategic partnerships; the Saudi Tourism Authority’s share of them was 7, varying between memoranda of understanding and strategic agreements, contributing to achieving the Saudi Tourism Authority’s future aspirations and its desire to continue its achievements on the local and global levels. For his part, His Excellency the Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Tourism Authority said: “We are proud of the achievements made by the Kingdom during its distinguished participation in the World Travel Market, where we succeeded, along with more than 70 partners through the Saudi Tourism Authority, in consolidating Saudi Arabia’s position on the global tourism map, by highlighting unique experiences and authentic culture.

The successes, achievements and record numbers achieved by the Saudi Tourism Authority at all levels and levels confirm our commitment to empowering partners of the Saudi tourism system, in addition to strategic partnerships and agreements.” He added: “Through this global forum, I was pleased to launch the global campaign to promote Red Sea destinations under the slogan “Saudi Red Sea”, and accordingly; we renew the invitation and welcome tourists from all over the world to enjoy the unique destinations, inspiring experiences and qualitative and global events throughout the Kingdom.” The CEO and Board Member of the Saudi Tourism Authority, Fahad Hamidaddin, stated: “The Spirit of Saudi Arabia pavilion at the World Travel Market achieved many gains, the most important of which was empowering partners and contributing to harnessing everyone’s efforts. The Spirit of Saudi Arabia pavilion also witnessed the signing of many important memoranda of understanding and strategic partnerships, which confirm our determination to move forward on the path of success, growth and achievements, as new projects, programs and diverse Saudi initiatives received increasing and unprecedented global attention.

The Kingdom’s participation this year in this global forum coincided with the launch of the second phase of the global promotional campaign targeting many European countries in addition to the Americas, and the Saudi Winter 2024 program, which was launched last October and continues until the end of the first quarter of 2025. This participation also came at a time when visiting Saudi tourist destinations has become easier, smoother and safer than ever before.
