Omar Elezab promoted to F&B Director and Yvette Carreon to F&B Operations Manager

Dubai | SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences, Dubai’s award-winning lifestyle destination, is proud to announce the promotion of two of its esteemed professionals, as it further solidifies a commitment to excellent service with key appointments to further propel the hotel’s growth.

SLS Dubai is pleased to announce Omar Elezab’s promotion to F&B Director after previously taking the helm as Lifestyle Food & Beverage Operation Manager. With over 12 years of experience and having worked and explored the luxury F&B industry spanning from Spain, Italy and Dubai, Omar has significantly contributed to SLS Dubai’s growth. He has been promoted several times in the span of two years, which is a testament to his hard work and dedication to the hospitality industry. He began his career at SLS as an Assistant General Manager before becoming Carna’s General Manager after just two months in May 2021.

Always on the lookout for bespoke experiences and out-of-the-box offerings, Omar spearheaded the successful launch and management of the F1 Carna Pop-up and initiated Fi’lia’s Taste of Dubai participation. Boosting SLS Dubai’s nightlife offering under his watchful eye, Omar led the renovations of the iconic Privilege Club on the 75th floor, ushering in a new era for the famed hotspot. Omar has been excelling in his career as he continues to challenge others, push boundaries, and plan strategically as he leads SLS Dubai’s F&B to new heights.

Further strengthening its F&B operations, SLS Dubai also promotes Yvette Carreon to Food & Beverage Operations Manager. With over 16 years of hospitality experience in F&B and event management in leading hotels, clubs, restaurants, and bars in Europe, Australia and the Middle East, Yvette brings her driven and proactive approach to her new challenging role. Overseeing banquet operations, the pool bar, breakfast, in-room dining, and the sophisticated café and patisserie EllaMia, Yvette is set to bring her dynamic leadership and strategic approaches to SLS Dubai’s F&B operations.

Joining SLS in February 2021 as Hospitality Manager, her tenure has been vital in the hotel’s pre-opening preparations, and she has continued to play a successful role until today. Since joining, she has progressively taken more challenging roles within the organization, including 360-degree responsibilities ranging from nightlife activations, menu development, cost and procurement procedures, to detailed event planning, building, and execution. Prior to joining SLS, Yvette worked in several luxury hospitality venues in the region, such as holding the title of Outlet Manager at Summersalt Beach Club in Jumeirah Al Naseem, and Operations Manager at Saadiyat Beach Club in Abu Dhabi.

With these new appointments, SLS Dubai is confident they will drive their respective teams to further success as they innovate, curate, and create world-class services and offerings for each guest.
