Riyadh –: The Saudi Tourism Authority and the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conventions have signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at unifying visions, experiences and efforts, exchanging information, and launching joint programs and initiatives, in order to improve the services provided to tourists, and marketing and supporting tourism activities and events organized by government agencies and the private sector and promoting them in a way that benefits the national economy.

The memorandum of cooperation was signed on Sunday, December 15, 2024, during the International Exhibitions and Conventions Summit in Riyadh, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Haqbani, CEO of Partnerships and Executive Affairs at the Saudi Tourism Authority, and His Excellency Eng. Hatem Al-Kahli, CEO of the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conventions.

This memorandum includes; Cooperation to promote business events, exhibitions and conferences sector centers and facilities on the “Spirit of Saudi Arabia” platform, and work together to develop and enrich the visitor experience in the tourism and events sector, in addition to marketing tourism products at local and international exhibitions related to tourism. On this occasion, His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Haqbani, CEO of Partnerships and Executive Affairs at the Saudi Tourism Authority, stated: “The memorandum of cooperation signed between the Saudi Tourism Authority and the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conventions is a starting point for a strategic partnership to achieve common goals, in harmony with Saudi Vision 2030, through which we seek to cooperate and integrate in the field of exchanging experiences and information, and coordination to hold exhibitions in tourist destinations, in addition to improving the visitor experience, promoting tourism products at exhibitions and events, and promoting exhibitions on the platforms of the Spirit of Saudi Arabia.”
