‏Riyadh – -: The Saudi Tourism Authority launched the trial version of “Sara”; the smart guide for Saudi tourism, which attracted attention with its rich information and interesting stories about destinations, sites and tourist experiences, during its interaction with visitors to the “Spirit of Saudi Arabia” as a part of its participation in the activities of the World Travel Market (WTM) exhibition, which was held in London and concluded yesterday.

‏”Sara” embodied the Kingdom’s future approach in the field of smart tourism, by employing the latest artificial intelligence technologies, which enable her to receive questions, understand requirements, perceive needs, provide information and suggestions, and interact and continue speaking fluently, smoothly and realistically.

‏”Sara” is presented as a Saudi girl who loves her country and is passionate about travel. She has had the opportunity to explore unique tourist destinations, learn about historical landmarks and archaeological sites, and has extensive knowledge of the cultural diversity around the Kingdom, qualitative and global events, and all the information that a traveler needs.

‏This initiative comes within the framework of the Saudi Tourism Authority’s interest in digital tourism by keeping pace with progress in the field of artificial intelligence, and employing the latest technologies, in order to attract tourists from all over the world, in addition to developing, improving and enriching the tourists’ experience
