Abu Dhabi, UAE-: The second concert in the Saadiyat Nights series saw Googoosh, the iconic Iranian artist, perform her beloved hits on 20 January in Abu Dhabi. Kicking off her performance with Talagh, the star delighted fans with hits like Kooh, Hamsafar and Kavir. Performing as part of her farewell tour, GooGoosh’s Saadiyat Nights appearance marked the legend’s first ever show in Abu Dhabi.
The three-month Saadiyat Nights open-air concert series is set against the backdrop of Saadiyat Island vistas and brings together a diverse line-up of legendary global artists.
The remaining line-up of Saadiyat Nights includes Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli on 27 January, British singer-songwriter Sting on 3 February, Lebanese legend Magida El Roumi on 10 February, Welsh hitmaker Tom Jones on 1 March and Grammy-winning singer and songwriter John Legend on 2 March.
