Radisson Hotel Group today announced a year-end development update for the Middle East and northeast Africa, closing 2025 with record momentum across priority markets. Over the course of the year, the Group signed more than 3,200 keys and opened 1,300, accelerating growth across Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Egypt, and building a strong pipeline for 2026 and beyond.
Performance in 2025 reflects sustained demand for Radisson Hotel Group’s full brand and product range, spanning premium urban hotels and convention-led assets, lifestyle destinations, resorts, and serviced apartments, alongside a growing portfolio of branded residences in the UAE. This includes the recent signing of Radisson Residences Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi, a premium, waterfront-branded residential development developed in collaboration with Royal Development Holding.
Saudi Arabia continued to deliver at scale, supported by strong fundamentals across corporate, leisure, and religious travel, as well as an expanding mixed-use landscape. Recent openings include Radisson Blu Hotel, Riyadh Al Sahafa, Radisson Hotel & Residence Riyadh Olaya, Radisson Blu Hotel and Convention Centre, Riyadh Minhal, and Radisson Hotel Madinah. The Group has also progressed an agreement with Knowledge Economic City to develop a new Park Inn by Radisson hotel and serviced apartments in Madinah, aligned with evolving midscale demand and long-stay growth drivers.
The United Arab Emirates remained a priority market for targeted growth, with momentum building behind both lifestyle and residential-led opportunities. In Ras Al Khaimah, the signing for Radisson RED on Al Marjan Island has progressed well, with the lead design consultant appointed. In Abu Dhabi, Radisson Residences Al Reem Island strengthens the Group’s branded residences proposition, extending Radisson’s hospitality-led living experience into one of the capital’s most prominent waterfront districts.
Egypt regained meaningful scale in 2025, with the Group reviving its pipeline with close to 1,000 keys, setting up a strong runway into 2026. Signings such as Radisson Resort North Coast, Egypt reflect the Group’s continued focus on leisure-driven growth, complemented by longer-term lifestyle luxury momentum with Radisson Collection Resort, Marsa Alam, planned for 2027.
Lebanon adds further depth to the region’s destination mix, with the signing of Radisson Mountain Resort in Faqra, reinforcing the Group’s focus on differentiated leisure experiences across key markets.
Radisson Hotel Group continues to prioritize conversions and adaptive reuse as a fast-to-market growth lever, supported by hands-on feasibility, technical services, and pre-opening planning. With activity accelerating across multiple markets and product types, the Group has also strengthened its development leadership team and coverage to support execution and owner engagement.
Elie Milky, Chief Development Officer, Middle East, Northeast Africa, Greece & Cyprus at Radisson Hotel Group said: “2025 has been a record year for Radisson Hotel Group in the Middle East and northeast Africa, with strong delivery across signings and openings and clear momentum in our priority markets. Saudi Arabia remains a powerhouse, Egypt is back with real scale, and the UAE is producing more of the right opportunities, including conversions and branded residences. Our approach stays simple: match the right asset to the right brand, move decisively, and stay close to our owners. With a sharper focus on Radisson Collection for lifestyle luxury, and art’otel and Radisson RED strengthening our lifestyle value proposition, we’re turning momentum into keys and building a pipeline designed to perform.”
The Group’s Middle East portfolio today includes over 100 hotels in operation and under development. With 2025 results reinforcing strong alignment between brand demand and owner priorities, the Group remains on track toward its regional ambition of 150 hotels, resorts, and serviced apartments in operation and under development by 2030, strengthening its position as a leading international hotel group in the Middle East.
