Radisson Blu Hotel Riyadh Celebrates Saudi National Day with Nutq Association
Radisson Blu Hotel Marks Saudi National Day Through Community Engagement
Jeddah/Riyadh: Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre, Riyadh Minhal, marked Saudi National Day with a celebration centred on community, inclusion and national pride. The occasion brought together the hotel team and members of Nutq Association for Speech and Language Disorders, creating an opportunity to celebrate the Kingdom while recognising the importance of participation and belonging.
As part of this year’s celebration, Radisson Blu Hotel partnered with Nutq Association, known in Arabic as جمعية ذوي اضطرابات النطق واللغة – نطق, to welcome members of the association to the festivities. The collaboration aimed to create a meaningful shared experience, allowing participants to take part in the celebration and contribute their presence and talents to the occasion.
The initiative reflected the spirit of Saudi National Day by bringing people together and highlighting the value of an inclusive community. Rather than focusing solely on the country’s achievements, the celebration also recognised the individuals and organisations helping strengthen connections across Saudi society.
Supporting Inclusion Through the Partnership with Nutq Association
Nutq Association is the first association in the Kingdom dedicated to treating children with speech and language disorders. Its work focuses on rehabilitation, specialised programmes and improving the quality of life of children affected by these conditions.
The association also supports families with limited incomes who may be unable to afford the cost of therapy sessions. Through its work, Nutq aims to help children access specialised support while addressing the challenges faced by families seeking speech and language services.
By welcoming representatives from Nutq Association to its Saudi National Day celebration, Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre, Riyadh Minhal, created an opportunity for greater awareness and participation. Members of the association took part in special activities during the festivities, bringing their talents and individuality into the heart of the event.
The collaboration gave the celebration a broader community dimension, connecting a national occasion with an opportunity to recognise the contributions of people from different backgrounds and circumstances.
Partnerships of this nature also help bring attention to organisations working within the community. By creating opportunities for participation, hospitality venues can provide spaces where individuals and groups can connect, share experiences and feel included in important public celebrations.
A Message of Community and National Pride
Speaking about the initiative, André Adel Saadé, General Manager of Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre, Riyadh Minhal, highlighted the importance of making celebrations inclusive and meaningful for the wider community.
“At Radisson Blu Minhal, we believe that a celebration becomes more meaningful when everyone has a place in it,” Saadé said.
He explained that the hotel wanted to honour Saudi Arabia, a welcoming home to people from countless nationalities and backgrounds, while recognising the individuals who contribute to the community. The partnership with Nutq Association provided an opportunity to share the occasion, build genuine connections and celebrate the talents and individuality of its members.
His message placed inclusion at the centre of the hotel’s National Day activities, reinforcing the idea that hospitality can extend beyond welcoming guests and into creating opportunities for people to come together.
Saudi National Day is an occasion for reflecting on the Kingdom’s identity, achievements and future. The hotel’s initiative added a community-focused dimension to the celebration by recognising the importance of ensuring that different individuals and groups have opportunities to participate.
Radisson Blu Hotel and Its Community-Focused Approach to Hospitality
The celebration reflects Radisson Hotel Group’s “Think People, Think Community, and Think Planet” philosophy, which places people, communities and environmental considerations within the Group’s broader approach.
For Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre, Riyadh Minhal, community engagement forms part of how the property connects with the wider city. By working with Nutq Association, the hotel brought its hospitality approach into a setting focused on inclusion, awareness and shared experiences.
The initiative also builds on the hotel’s role as an established destination in the Saudi capital. While hotels and convention centres serve guests, business travellers and event participants, their connection to the surrounding community can extend beyond their core hospitality functions.
Community collaborations create opportunities to engage with local organisations and recognise their work. In this case, the partnership brought attention to Nutq Association’s efforts to support children with speech and language disorders and families who face financial barriers to therapy.
The celebration demonstrated how a hotel event can combine a national occasion with a wider social purpose. By welcoming association members into the festivities, Radisson Blu Riyadh Minhal helped create a shared setting in which national pride and community participation came together.
Celebrating Saudi Arabia Through Inclusion and Togetherness
Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre, Riyadh Minhal, used its Saudi National Day celebration to recognise both the Kingdom’s achievements and the people who contribute to its communities.
The collaboration with Nutq Association highlighted the importance of inclusion, participation and meaningful connections. It also brought visibility to an organisation working to improve the lives of children with speech and language disorders and support families who may otherwise struggle to access specialised therapy.
Through the special activities and shared celebration, the hotel reinforced the message that national occasions can be opportunities to bring people together and recognise individual contributions.
The initiative reflects a broader understanding of hospitality in which welcoming people also means creating space for connection, participation and community engagement.
As Saudi Arabia continues to develop its social and hospitality landscape, initiatives that bring organisations and communities together can contribute to a more inclusive environment. For Radisson Blu Riyadh Minhal, this National Day celebration offered an opportunity to express national pride while placing community spirit and togetherness at the heart of the occasion.
