Following the recent appointment of its new Chief of Culinary, Chef Rusvel Trujillo, Planet Terra’s kitchen presents a new menu full of vegan delights that are made from scratch with no artificial sweeteners, no refined sugars, and no GMOs.
As seasonal produce changes and temperatures across the UAE cool, homegrown vegan eatery, Planet Terra has revealed its new menu created by the brand’s newly appointed Chief of Culinary, Chef Rusvel Trujillo.
Now serving at both of Planet Terra’s Dubai-based branches in The Greens and Ibis World Trade Centre Hotel, the menu sees a collection of new delicious, plant-based dishes and beverages available to guests at the earth-friendly neighbourhood restaurant.
All items on the entirely vegan menu have been created with animal-free ingredients that are sourced fresh from ethical and sustainable suppliers, locally and internationally. Visitors will find plenty of options to see them through breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between – think vegan desserts, organic coffee, homemade soups, smoothies, mylkshakes and cold-pressed juices – with everything made from scratch daily in-house, with no artificial sweeteners, no refined sugars and no GMOs.
Rise and shine highlights from the new menu include a vegan take on a breakfast classic, ‘The Benedict’, with vegan poached egg, hollandaise, avocado and pico de gallo on toasted sourdough, plus the ‘Chocolicious Açai’ bowl topped with banana, chocolate brownie, pomegranate and nut-ella.
For lunch or dinner, other debut dishes include ‘Car-neat-as Tacos’ with shredded king oyster mushrooms, coriander and onion salsa, topped with avocado cream in a corn tortilla, ‘Caribbean Ceviche’ made with tomato, avocado cauliflower and mango, plus ‘Empanadas’ featuring a corn shell, hibiscus and tofu filling, guajillo, avocado cream, and pico de gallo – all dishes of which hone in on Chef Rusvel’s Mexican roots and passion for Latin cuisine.
Other new additions include the wholesome ‘Tuscan Flatbread’ made with flaxseeds, topped with cashew cream cheese, tomato and pesto sauce, and an assortment of fresh vegetables. The ‘La Burratina’ features Planet Terra’s signature homemade burrata with heirloom tomatoes and a balsamic glaze, while the ‘Watermelon Feta Salad’ is made using almond feta.
For a sweet bite, the new Fondant au Chocolat – warm dark chocolate fondant, is sure to satisfy the cravings of those with a sweet tooth.
The new menu items are now available at both of Planet Terra’s family-friendly branches that offer a welcoming and relaxing space created for the community where guests will find an abundance of inviting corners to sit back with a cup of organic coffee served with a choice of plant-based mylk options like almond, soy, oat and coconut.
Designed to evoke an at-ease feeling, Planet Terra’s interiors in both branches are thoughtfully designed with products inspired by a natural setting, such as wooden tables and chairs, bamboo lighting and plenty of luscious plant life, while outside its sun-drenched terraces provide guests with desirable nature and city views – perfect for enjoying the cooler weather on.
Planet Terra is located on the Ground Floor of Panorama Building, The Greens, Dubai, UAE, and on the Ground Floor of Ibis World Trade Centre Hotel, Dubai, UAE. Both branches are open daily from 7.30am till 10.30pm for dine-in, takeaway or delivery via Deliveroo.
