Dubai, UAE –-– Peacock Alley, Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre is set to unveil an enchanting experience with the launch of the ‘Meet me at the Clock’ afternoon tea, Sunday- Friday from 2-6pm. To add to the experience, the venue is introducing a ‘Ballet Edition’, which begins on Saturday 28 September and will take place every Saturday from thereon. Guests can experience afternoon tea, as a ballerina performs gracefully to the melodies of a live piano performance.
Guests can enjoy a host of sweet treats, savoury goods and teas. The elevated experience will see the likes of specially curated bites such as amuse-bouche of wild-caught crab & caviar, crispy pommes mousseline with Umbria black truffle, hand-rolled string potato with smoked salmon roulade, and free-range foie gras puff with parmesan sable and beetroot pearls. Sandwiches including tuna and aioli on brioche, and coronation chicken on whole grain bread. A selection of teas, including exclusive green, white, black, and herbal varieties, as well as the signature Chamomile Sour Tea welcome drink – that includes chamomile tea, vanilla syrup and lemon juice.
For those with a sweet tooth, the menu offers delights inclusive of strawberry and rose cake, mango cheesecake, pistachio and raspberry mousse, and an array of scones with clotted cream and season jams complete the afternoon.
With the ‘Ballet Edition’ launching on 28 September, visitors can expect to be captivated by the elegance of a live piano performance, while renowned Aliaksandra Rakouskaya, the specialist Russian ballerina who has performed across the globe in classic productions such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker and more, brings the beauty of ballet to life.
